Meet Charlotte..
Hi, I’m Charlotte, the psychologist behind Soulful Growth Psychology.
I believe that one of the most important elements of effective therapy is the relationship between therapist and client. I prioritise building genuine connection, fostering empathy, and creating a space where clients feel emotionally safe and supported.
My approach is warm, nurturing, and grounded in curiosity. I work from a strengths-based perspective, focusing on recognising and celebrating progress. I also engage in ongoing self-reflection to continue growing both professionally and personally, ensuring I can offer the best support to those I work with.
I am trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing) and incorporate this into my work with a range of presenting concerns. I take an integrative approach to therapy, drawing on modalities such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), EMDR, and Solution-Focused Therapy to tailor treatment to each individual.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, particularly my nieces. I love exploring new places, learning about different people and cultures, and finding small ways to unwind - whether that’s reading, discovering a new TV series, or taking a nap!
